Let’s honor Ellis Jarvis Jr., our remarkable senior who has enlisted in the Illinois Army National Guard stationed in Macomb, IL, and has ambitious plans for his future! 🇺🇸 Ellis also plans on continuing to work in the Ag industry and attend John Wood Community College to obtain his CDL. His dedication to both his country and his career is truly inspiring!

Ellis is excited to move out on his own, embracing the independence that comes with this new chapter of his life. He describes himself as caring, hardworking, and motivated, qualities that will undoubtedly lead him to success in all his endeavors.

His favorite food is walking tacos, a delicious choice that reflects his down-to-earth nature. Ellis’s favorite color is red, a vibrant and bold choice that mirrors his energetic personality. 🌮❤️

Ellis’s biggest role model is SSG Nick Pratt, highlighting the impact that strong mentorship can have on shaping one’s values and goals.

In his spare time, Ellis enjoys mowing and tinkering on vehicles, hobbies that speak to his hands-on and practical nature. He will miss the long conversations with Mrs. Cook and Mr. Hartweg the most about Hamilton High School, showing his appreciation for the guidance and support he received from his teachers.

His parting words of wisdom for incoming freshmen and underclassmen are profound: “Just listen to the advice and instruction your teachers give you, and it will take you farther in life.” A reminder of the importance of learning from those with experience and using that knowledge to forge a successful path.

Ellis’s favorite memory from high school is going to the Farm Progress Show the first year in Decatur, IL, an experience that allowed him to explore his interests in agriculture and machinery.

We’re incredibly proud of you, Ellis, and we thank you for your service to our country! Best of luck in all your future endeavors! 🌟🚜 #SeniorSpotlight #Classof2024 #FutureLeader
