Let’s give a big round of applause to Evelyn Coffey, our amazing senior who has committed to Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, to study Pre-law in her pursuit to become a Game Warden! πŸ¦ŒπŸ‘©β€βš–οΈ Evelyn’s passion for law enforcement and her love for the outdoors are truly inspiring.

Evelyn plans on making the most of her summer and enjoying a break from homework (at least for a little while). She’s excited to start her educational journey towards her future career and is eager to dive into her studies.

A lover of the outdoors, Evelyn enjoys fishing, 4-wheeler riding, mechanics, kayaking, and hiking. Her favorite color is Sage green, and she can’t resist a good quesadillaβ€”yum! 🎣🚜

One of Evelyn’s fondest memories of her time at Hamilton High School is the opportunity to grow with new people and see old friendships come back to life. She will miss her teachers at Hamilton High School the most, especially Mrs. Butcher and Mrs. Cook, who have had a significant impact on her high school experience.

Evelyn’s words of advice for underclassmen and incoming freshmen are wise: “Do not underestimate how fast high school actually goes by. I thought it was so slow, and now I’m graduating in less than 2 months. It flies by.” A valuable reminder to cherish every moment.

Describing herself as ethical, logical, and adaptable, Evelyn’s qualities will undoubtedly serve her well in her future career. We’re incredibly proud of you, Evelyn, and we can’t wait to see all that you’ll achieve at WIU and beyond! Best of luck on your journey! πŸŒŸπŸ“š #SeniorSpotlight #Classof2024 #FutureGameWarden
