A special thanks to KHQA, Doors-N-More, and Peevler Real Estate for presenting a $1,000 check to one of our teachers, Mrs. Bell. She applied for the “One Class at a Time” grant with the hope of purchasing materials for her 6th grade science classes. With this gracious donation, she will be able to put those funds towards her alternative energy unit in Earth Science.
We have over 100 students in our district who benefit from the Food for Thoughts Program. This would not be possible without the students, staff, and community members who volunteer their time to help pack and deliver bags of food for students to have meals on the weekends and holidays. Thank you to those who have donated money and time for this important cause.
Graduation for the HHS Class of 2020 will be Saturday, May 16th at 2pm.
